INFORMATIONS

   En 1986, Rafferty quitte The Primevals. Il écoute de plus en plus d'instros surf (Dick Dale, Jon the Nightriders, ..), c'est un amateur des compilations 'Strummin Mental', et un fan de Link Wray.
    Keith Bruce le rejoint en premier, puis Stuart Nicol (guitare), T Morris Fraser (basse) et Paul Bridges (batterie).
   Leur premier concert en juin 1986 se passe au Saltmine à Glasgow, avec The Hucksters et the Primevals.

   Plus tard, John Currie les rejoint et prend la batterie, Fred Collins puis Robert Renfrew vont à la basse.

La formation reste à peu la même durant les trois premières années. Puis Stuart Nicol et Robert Renfrew quittent Glasgow. De nouveaux musiciens viennent les remplacer et une section de cuivres est ajoutée. Leur nombre varie selon les concerts.
