En 1962, le groupe de Raymond A. Baradat The SOUL KINGS change de nom pour les CHARADES.
Ils jouent avec The RHYTHM KINGS.
'Tootie' Rodriguez des RHYTHM KINGS rejoint les CHARADES en 1964 pour quelques temps. Eddie CUELLAR rejoint les RHYTHM KINGS à la fin des années 60 mais revient dans les CHARADES dans les années 70.
