FIFTY FOOT COMBO démarre sous forme de trio en 1994 avec Jenz à la basse, Tommy à la guitare et Bart à la batterie. Ils réalisent la démo 'Surf's Up!" le mois suivant.
En peu de temps, ils se font un nom grace à leur jeu sauvage, leurs masques de scène et leurs Go-Go Girls. Sur quelques gigs, Senor J de Havana apporte son assistance; Il fait maintenant partie de la formation. En novembre 1995, Steven qui les a vu jouer plusieurs fois, leur demande s'ils ont besoin d'une guitare rythmique. Après un essai, il est accepté. Avec l'arrivée de ces deux musiciens, STEVEN et Rodrigo SENOR J (qui remplace Tommy), le Combo s'ouvre à de nouvelles sonorités (exotiques et lounge), qu'il désirait avoir. La formation complétée de Matto Le D. à l'orgue, produit une musique qui lui est propre et la popularité du Fifty Foot Combo grandit.
En 1996, ils sont en relation avec ZEBRAAH-RECORDS, un label belge spécialisé dans le garage et il en
résulte l'EP 'TNT TATTOO PRESENTS THE FIFTY FOOT COMBO'; Le succès de cet EP incite le label à produire
un album entier. Le groupe entre alors en studio la première semaine d'aot 1997 pour enregistrer l'album
'Go Hunting!'. Il sort en décembre et s'avère être un des plus prometteurs albums de l'année 1998.
Ce même album sort à nouveau sur le label US MuSik Records en 1999.
Le FIFTY FOOT COMBO participe également à plusieurs compilations et albums 'tribute to'.
En novembre 2000, la formation sort son deuxième album 'Evil A Go-Go!!!' sur RBE Music. En plus, ils sortent une compilation CD/LP appelée "Strike! - The Early Years 1994-2000" (qui réunit leurs simple et EP) sur Drunkabilly Records début décembre 2000.
En 2001, leur tout premier album 'Go Hunting!' est repressé par Drunkabilly Records sur LP/CD et en édition limitée vinyl coloré.
En 2002, le troisième album LP/CD "Caffeine" sort chez
Drunkabilly records!!!
Ils tournent régulièrement dans le scène rock'n'roll Belge, et font entendre leur musique
jusqu'aux frontières d'Allemagne, Hollande et France en jouant avec
JON & The NIGHTRIDERS,
HUEVOS RANCHEROS,
The CRAMPS, The TRASHWOMEN et bien d'autres...
Trois de leurs membres créent Thee ANDREW SURFERS.
