   Célèbre compositeur/producteur indépendant anglais. Entouré de musiciens, il travaillait et expérimentait des sonorités avec tout un matériel électronique.
Il produit un nombre considérable de simples et obtient pas mal de succès commerciaux (instrumentaux ou non), dont notamment 'Telstar' (1962) avec les TORNADOS, devenu le premier titre anglais n°1 au top 100 américain.
