Le saxophoniste ténor Red PRICE débute sa carrière chez Decca en 1957. Il passe chez Pye de 1958 à 1960 puis chez EMI avec son groupe The BLACKJACKS en 1961. Il est accompagné par un orchestre.
Il a fait partie de LORD ROCKINGHAM'S XI qui jouait au show télévisé 'Oh Boy!' de Jack Good.
