INFORMATIONS

   Le groupe SLACKTONE se forme en 1995, lorsque Dave et Dusty se rencontrent à nouveau au cours d'une convention des fabricants du monde la musique à Anaheim (Californie). Ayant joués ensemble pendant la 2ème vague Surf (1979 à 1984), dans  JON & The NIGHTRIDERS , ils n'avaient plus eu de nouvelles l'un de l'autre depuis.

   Dusty WATSON et Mike SULLIVAN devenaient pendant ce temps, une des plus impressionnantes section rythmique de la scène alternative. Dave WRONSKI les rejoint donc en 1995 pour former un des plus actifs groupe de surf instrumental, jouant du nord au sud de la côte Californienne.

   SLACKTONE joue également dans des vidéos promotionnelles, pour des télévisions commerciales et pour des émissions sportives (ESPN's Extreme Games).

   Mike SULLIVAN décède en aot 2001. Sam BOLLE rejoint le groupe à la basse.

    Le CIA de l'album 'Live at The CIA' est : California Institute Of Abnormalarts.
