Le groupe se forme en janvier 1988. Ils se rencontrent au studio de Lennart "Lenny" Clerwall à /smo, à cinquante kilomètres de Stockholm, la capitale de la Suède. Ils s'aperçoivent qu'ils aiment le même groupe The SPOTNICKS.
