   Kip Tyler (KIP TYLER & The FLIPS) réunit autour de lui plusieurs formations différentes appelées The Flips, composées d'une brochette de musiciens de talent, venant du formidable vivier musical californien de cette époque. La première mouture de ce qui deviendra Kip Tyler & The Flips apparaît vers 1957.
